Daniela has been a faculty member at the University of Hawaii-Leeward Community College since 2014, where she serves as the program coordinator for the Sustainable Agriculture Program. Daniela has developed OER materials for her classes and is passionate about the opportunities open pedagogy brings to localizing materials, ensuring they are relevant to people from diverse backgrounds. She holds a Ph.D. in Botany from University of Hawai‘i and a Master in Horticultural Sciences from University of Florida. One of her projects can be found here:
