About me
I am part of a small, informal working group interested in how individual K-12 practitioners interact with OERs. Many school Divisions and K-12 teachers already embrace many aspects of open pedagogy. Adding an understanding of open licensing and OER processes to collaborative projects and communities of practice would support increased efficiency and equity while giving teachers a greater voice in curriculum implementation. Our website, http://www.openteacherab.ca is intended to be a starting point for engaging in-service and pre-service teachers in various OER processes while attempting to generate support for OER development at the School division or Ministry of Education level.
